Brides Against Breast Cancer Tour

Each year the Association of Bridal Consultants partner with the Making Memories Foundation for the Brides Against Breast Cancer Road Tour. The tour made a couple of stops in the state of North Carolina as it traveled around the country to 30 other shows. February 5-8 the tour stopped at the Raleigh Sheraton Hotel and February 26-28 in Charlotte at the Marriott Executive Park. Charlotte Brides Against Breast Cancer Event -  raised $23,000, add that to Raleigh's $31,500 and that puts us at $54,500 raised in the MONTH of FEB!! I volunteered that Sunday in Charlotte and was amazed at the different types of gorgeous gowns. Along with basic gowns were the courture section that featured many well-known designers, such as Vera Wang. Yes, Vera Wang!!

If you missed any area stops, the warehouse is open all year in Santee, South Carolina.  It's definitely worth a trip to save money while supporting a worthy cause. The Santee, SC Outlet Store is open the weekend of March 19 and every weekend in April! Call Barbara at 843-901-0402 for Details!

Why an ABC wedding coordinator?

Anyone can call themselves a wedding coordinator. However, it takes a professional, dedicated individual to maintain ABC membership. The Association of Bridal Consultations has been serving the wedding industry since 1955. Members agree to "uphold the ABC Code of Ethics and Standards of Membership". In order to maintain membership, members must fulfill certain hours of education and training each year. ABC members also have access to discounts from many wedding vendors that are not available to the general public or non-member. These savings are often times passed on to the couple, saving them money!! An ABC coordinator is a valuable resource and designation should serve as a sign of relief for the couple.

ABC Code of Ethics
-agree to represent each client fairly and honestly providing all agree-to services in a timely and cost efficient manner.

-establish reasonable and proper fees for services and provide written estimates to each client.

-use honest, factual advertising

-deal with employees and clients fairly, in an unbiased manner

-disclose to clients any payments received from suppliers

-operate an establishment that is credit to the community
