Anyone can call themselves a wedding coordinator. However, it takes a
professional, dedicated individual to maintain ABC membership. The Association of Bridal
Consultations has been serving the wedding industry since 1955. Members agree to "uphold the ABC Code of Ethics and Standards of Membership". In order to maintain membership, members must fulfill certain hours of education and training each year. ABC members also have access to discounts from many wedding vendors that are not available to the general public or non-member. These savings are often times passed on to the couple, saving them money!! An ABC coordinator is a valuable resource and designation should serve as a sign of relief for the couple.
